Hello Friends and Family of Lakeshore Dental Studio!

We know it’s been a while since we posted, we have a lot to catch you up on! So let’s start with a recent highlight: Dr. Kella visited Helen C. Peirce School of International Studies to teach young students the importance of maintaining exceptional oral hygiene.

Prevention is key when it comes to oral health. This is why starting oral hygiene education at a young age not only helps kids understand the importance of brushing and flossing, but it makes going to the dentist a much more enjoyable experience (for both you and your child). The Peirce students were a superb audience while Dr. Kella explained to them what to expect when they go to the dentist, and did away with the stereotype that dentists are scary. In fact, he proved just the opposite by playing games and having fun with the kids while explaining to them how they can get into the “No Cavity Club.”

Lakeshore Dental Studio welcomes patients of all ages, including your little ones. We know the dentist can be an intimidating environment for them, but it shouldn’t be! Before the appointment, they can spend time coloring and getting creative in the playroom. During the appointment, they can stream their favorite cartoons and shows without even moving (the T.V. is in the ceiling!). After the appointment, they win a prize, as well as get to decide on which colored toothbrush they take home. The goal is to have them leaving happy, healthy, and to stay that way by coming in for their bi-annual check-ups. We hope to see you soon! Signing off for now
